I was distracted for what seemed like no more than a minute after dinner this evening. Either it must have been several minutes or my kids are significantly quicker at creating chaos than I imagine them to be.
Do you recognize the “white stuff” all over my kitchen floor? Yes, those are the ever-dreaded pesky packing peanuts. These are not your ordinary bits of Styrofoam, however. They are the very kind which has been passed through the tiny shredding hands of two little girls hell bent on having a good time at mommy’s expense. And that’s only in one corner! Joy to the world!!!!

Princess’ explanation to my “what is this mess?!” was “we were making pumpkin pies!” Of course, Drama Queen backed up her sister’s innocent story shouting after her: “pumpin piiiiies, mama, piiiies!”
Darn, they’re good! Which one of us can take offense at the making and baking of pumpkin pies, especially this late in the month of October?
I knew they were conspiring against me.

Ack! LOL!
That sort of thing happens here with tissues (Kleenex).
And Kleenex are way more readily available on a daily basis than packing peanuts!… you must have tons of patience.
My kids also get into the baby wipes in a similar manner. Turn your head for a minute and they are cleaning the furniture with them. You then have nothing left to clean the baby’s bottom.
That has happened here too. hard to clean up when it is all static clingy!
