Hold on to your SEATS!  Literally!  I’m going to be getting truly superficial in this post.

I found a site today that will make your “trying on a half dozen pair of jeans with several children whining underfoot in the dressing room only to walk out of the store empty-handed and truly angry with your mommy bod” days a thing of the past! Yes, apparently there is an easier and highly scientific way, mama! It may have been around forever, for all I know, but it’s new to me and, in my humble opinion, it’s helpful. So that makes it blogworthy and sooooo worth sharing.

ZAFU is fantastic! You answer a few questions regarding your current denim wardrobe (there are graphics to help) and, VOILA’,  a few moments later this little shopping aid comes up with a list of jeans made just for your bottom, thighs, legs, love handles, whatever your flaw may be - even if that flaw is being a stick figure. Um, can anyone say “skinny mommy alert”?! 

Now, you do, at times during this process, have to drag your ass up in your favorite-yet-not-perfect pair of jeans and stand in front of a mirror to complete the survey. It sounds daunting, I know, but it’s worth the extra effort. In addition, once you have your results,  you need to sift through your list and narrow it down to a number you are willing to try, or at least I suggest that you do. My list was fifty-four different pairs long (which means either I have an average figure or I need some serious help!). I don’t know to what lengths you are willing to go, but there’s no way in hell I’m trying on that many pairs!  In any case, ZAFU enables you to view each pair’s details and narrow down your results, so fear not, little ones. At least when you are done, you know which six pair of jeans to lug into the dressing room draped over the stroller handle and hanging down over the baby’s head! And, at the very least, you may actually walk out of the store with a pair that fits.  

Yes, I have a sneaking feeling that my search for the perfect pair of jeans will soon be coming to an end. An END - ha, ha, hee, hee get it? We’ll see.
