I have chosen Let The Cat Out Of The Bag as the very first theme of this meme.
Last week I was cleaning out my purse and the endless number of miscellaneous things that occupy clutter it on a regular basis. I couldn’t help but notice how my purse was filled with way more stuff than would have filled it as a single lady or during my early childless years of marriage. What is it about parenting that changes everything?!
I love my purse whichever I use and I use it as a catch all. Seriously, catch ALL. In fact, I was only cleaning it last week to change over to this larger almost suitcase size sucker (last year’s Christmas gift from Hubby spurred on by my mom) since I am so sick and tired of carrying my little bag plus the girls’ diaper bag. Can anyone say time to consolidate?
In any case, I got to thinking (look out for that thinking): what do the contents of a person’s bag say about that person? Could you guess what a girl/guy is like just by peeking into her/his bag? So I emptied my freshly tidied purse on to the bed and oh snap…the inspiration for Flaunt It Fridays!
So this very first Flaunt It Friday, I challenge you to let the cat out of the bag about yourself and show us your bag, if you dare! What do its contents say about you? Could we identify you by what’s inside the bag?
Note: blog one, blog all! It need not be a mommy bag or even a lady bag for that matter. Singles’ bags, married bags, man bags, backpacks and briefcases are welcome to the challenge.
I also think it would be truly entertaining to leave comments on each site guessing things about the blogger by the contents of her/his bag.

Yes, I was the girl with all the pens, not much has changed.
You must come back, you started something. I walked around my house for like, oh, three minutes and snapped shots of my pens. Oh.my.gosh. I’m a pen hording fool. For real. I mean, I knew I liked pens, but this really, really pointed out just how bad it is.

I actually have lots of things I don’t really use in my purse. I try to clean it like every two months, I have like ten purses so have to switch here and there etc. I wont list here because I can’t remember what’s in it!

LOL about the crumbs…I did notice them!! My purse can accumulate crumbs even if I haven’t had any food in it. How does that happen??

Cute idea. I am oddly neat when it comes to the bag department. Not sure why that isn’t spilling over into some other areas of my life.
I am so sorry I slacked on this Friday’s post. I feel like a schmuck. I got wrapped up with things this afternoon and thought I could put it off. The folks called and decided to go out for dinner this evening and the rest is history.
One reassuring side note… MY PURSE IS A SCARY SCARY PLACE!!

This was soooo much fun! I took the pictures yesterday but I wasn’t able to post them until this morning. You it’s those things called Kids that kept me away from my friend the computer! Anyway, I LOVE your purse! I want one of those for christmas! Off to check out the other participants. Love new friends!!!

Actually I put everything in there in a certain way. After I pack it today I will take a picture of the inside. I usually do diapers, wipes, and cloth items stacked neatly on one side, snacks in the middle, cups on the other side and everything else has these cool little holders for them. My cell phone and id goes in the small side pocket, all of my other essentials including camera go into the front zip pocket. The diaper changing pad goes into the back slot, and there is a place for my water bottle or extra up on the outside of the bag. Keys are thrown in wherever and hand sanitizer are hanging on the bag! It doesn’t take long unless it’s something little I’ve thrown in there that I just can’t find! LOL
Love the Flaunt it Friday idea! Deb, as usual is much more together than I am but I will absolutely participate next week. Thanks for visiting our Mommy Mondays. Yes - it is a musical I am doing Guys and Dolls which is partly why I am so disorganized lately! I’d forgotten how much time and energy these things take.
