Princess Point of View: ROOOAR

Yesterday evening, as we do every evening at bedtime, I was reading a few good books to the babes.  Among the books that we happened to pull off the badly cluttered bookshelf (note to self: ask Nanny to come up with a better library system) was one from an absolutely adorable manners series about dinosaurs entitled “How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight?” The Dinosaur series, by Jane Yolen, focuses on educating the children in the arena of proper and improper behavior by asking some questions about how dinosaurs behave in certain routine situations, exaggerating inappropriate behaviors and the reactions of their human parents, and later celebrating the very best behaved dinosaurs. They are so sweet and definitely worth the read for the kiddies and apparently for the adults as well. themommykelly: (to self) “What was mom saying just today about being patient? TURN PAGE NOW! BAD MOMMY!”
