Every so often I come across the kind of things that just seem to make life and life with kids so much easier. Last week was one of those every so oftens.
Among the handful of gifts that our children received from us was a beautiful and very useful art easel that we purchased for them to share: one side each. Once they understood the concept they were excited and clamored to break out the paints right then and there.
Some days later as I rustled through the art supply closet, I realized that their art utensils are quite the mess. Markers were missing caps. Twistable crayons were missing their crayons. Paints? Are you kidding? There’s no way I’m getting down and dirty with the paints! Let’s leave that to the nanny. Anyhow, I considered that new washable markers were in order as my little darlings LOVE to draw.
On my next shopping trip out I browsed in Target’s artsy aisle and I stumbled upon these wonderful little babies.
Yes, you are seeing right. No need for an eye exam. That’s right! The cap is built right into the washables! No more missing marker caps in the mommykelly household or yours for that matter if you decide to invest in some for your little marker monsters!
You have just got to love simple and logical technological advances such as these!
