What the Hell?

What The Hell?!: When It Rains, It Pours, But It’s Not Lethal

Me. Now. I sit here lazily stretching my yawning mind before the computer screen attempting desperately to shake the sleepiness from my bones and lunge once more into the blogosphere with a single stealth swoop! Distraught am I over the literary silence which has echoed in the halls of Taken for nearly a month and a half, scaring away some readers while at the same time, strangely enough, attracting others to more frequent visits, for “wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.” (Matthew 24:28) Sorry darling, there is no corpse here. Nearly dead maybe, ass-kicked definitely, but still very much alive! Wouldn’t you just like all the dirt?

I am sincerely grateful to those of you who have expressed your concern and conveyed prayerful, heartfelt messages to raise my spirits and help pull me through. THANK YOU!  Your caring words have meant the world to me and have certainly done their part to free me from the muck despite the distances between us.  As I emerge from the absolute hell which life itself has been over these oh-so-drudgingly-long winter weeks, I am thrilled to once again turn my face to the light of the sun, looking forward to an early Spring and immersing myself in the beauty of the words which free themselves from my mind through the click-clacking of my fingertips on the magical keyboard.

Speaking of thoughts, so many matters crowd my brain as the spirit of writing once again bubbles up within me like an endless font of entertainment.  Some are way too personal for the virtual page, others of jaw-dropping interest. Still others, well, simply much too complicated for the likes of a blog.  I look forward to dealing with those I can and should, here and SOON!

For now, I will leave you with two very pertinent sayings which the last two months have proven true for me. I will NEVER forget them.

“When it rains, it pours”

and

“That which doesn’t kill you serves only to make you stronger.”
