Alright. I admit it. It’s not actually a Monday Morning Musing. It’s more like leftovers from Sunday afternoon’s parusing of The New York Times Style Magazine for Spring 2008 while waiting around for the oil burner repair man. (Don’t ask, yeah it looks like it’s about to blow!)

Would you actually purchase this glorified Ralph Lauren bookcase for the price of $15,495.00 ?
How about this Francois Arnal Inox “lounge” chair, um sorry, masterpiece in plexiglass and stainless steel, probably never meant to be sat on, much less lounged in, to the tune of $40,000.00?

I baulked at spending $400 on wood for winter heating.
It’s obscene that somebody probably does have that much money to spend on something like that.
