  Yesterday's post provides insight as to the impetus of this week's challenge. So come on, darlings!  Pull up a chair, grab a cup of java and tell me all about the worst neighbor you have ever had. Yes, I want all the juicy details! Here's mine! She clearly takes the cake and has most certainly started off on the wrong foot with me. I'm considering a ten foot brick wall as a welcome home present when she comes back from next year's winter migration!   You Know You Are Pregnant When…

  There are so many ways to be reminded that you are pregnant. Nature just doesn't want you to forget. If first trimester nausea or second trimester migraines are not enough to keep you pleasantly aware that you are "with child", there are plenty of indicators in your third trimester to raise your consciousness. Here are just a few that I encountered over the weekend. (1) Having to ROLL in and out of bed, moaning and groaning with sciatica pain the entire time. (Oh, and guess what, y'all.   Summer is one of my favorite times of the year. A New Englander by birth, I have always savored the sultry months and their sweet respite from dark, chill and rain. I cannot fight the excitement of the later sunny days of spring, as, surrounded in a luxury of green and blossoms, I sigh and thank God for the changing seasons, in spite of my allergies.   Expressions of A Drama Queen: Who’s Your Daddy

  In spite of her recent teething issues, our two-year-old Drama Queen has managed to keep her sense of humor. There isn't a day that goes by that this munchkin doesn't have me laughing.  Here's her most recent one liner during a diaper change. Drama Queen (holding the teeny-tiny doll from nesting doll set): "this is from Princess, Mama!" themommykelly:"Actually, Baby, that's from Omi and Opi (her paternal grandparents)." Drama Queen:"From OmiOpi?! Oh, yeaaaaah! No! It from MamaDada!" themommykelly:  "From MamaDada?! No, silly." brief pause of mommy silence and toddler whining... themommykelly:(deciding to drag out the conversation in the hopes of finishing the diaper change without incident)"Who's your Mama?"   Separation anxiety is a terrible thing. Poor little creatures fighting feelings of abandonment and loneliness, distraught with fear over the possibility that mama might not return. Kids?!
