Oh did I ever get the "are you pregnant" comments? AND even worse "You're having a girl this time, right?" I always wanted boys (4 to be exact). I got so tired of folks looking at me weird and comments when I would say I preferred boys that I just stopped letting people know my desire. It's as if a woman can't prefer boys over girls or something. Like that makes her a bad mother!?!? WTFreak! Anyway, the factory is closed over here so I am just thrilled to have 2 boys. I get "Wow, you must be pleased it was a girl!" Well, yes I was but not because I wouldn't have loved another little boy. I am quite pleased we have one of each because we're not likely to have another but I would have been happy to be a mum of boys as well. Mostly I am happy they are healthy and safe and their own little personality. The gender balance in a family is not what makes a perfect family of love and harmony. It’s such a dumb comment.
