  This summer we've been enjoying visits nearly everyday from this Mama and her babies (all three)! I have yet to get a decent shot of the four together without disturbing their late afternoon nibbling. (Even this shot with one baby is questionable.)  As an accomplished hostess, I so want to make them feel comfortable in our luscious green backyard. I am honored that the Doe feels safe enough here to let her fawn run free on our property. They do so gravitate toward the sandbox! I suppose anyone who is really "into" planting would be furious.   Ah, yes, swimming. The epitome of summer fun! How our little mermaids love the water! Please, do not hold me responsible for the tacky animal print/pink butterfly swimsuits. They chose them entirely on their own and threw a fit when I attempted to divert their attention to more tasteful suits.  I suppose those are Daddy's family's genes in the works. Fortunately, I still have years to educate them in the art of style. Whew! But by the looks of these suits, I had better get on the ball!
